BSI Seiling invites you to a weekend of sailing, (fishing, swimming?) and socializing at the RAN Sailing Club on Sotra. We have rented a cabin there where we can hang out, eat and drink beer/non-alcoholic beverages, and get to know fellow members of BSI Sailing. This is also a great opportunity for beginners to practice on some manoeuvres out in the fjord.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION
— How to get to and from RAN —
One can either sail with one of our boats leaving Friday afternoon from our dock at Merkur båtforening (see the calendar), or take the bus. The sail time will take about two to three hours. The Bus 445 leaves from Bergen Bystajonen to Anglevik Snuplass every hour. To find out when you should take the bus, take a look at skyss.no.

— What to bring in addition to ordinary clothing? —
• Water/windproof clothing and rubber boots
• Warm underwear
• Earplugs
• Gloves, hat and scarf
• Warm sweater
• Sleeping bag and air matress/sleeping pads
• A towel (Always bring a towel)
• Fishing pole if you have one
• Alcoholic or other beverages (enough for the weekend!)
• Your best Spotify playlist
• Swimwear (if the weather is good, or not)
• Board games?
• An accordion?

— Food —
Dinner will be served on Friday and Saturday. Breakfast, lunch and copious amounts of snacks will also be available. Bring whatever drinks you would prefer (make sure to bring enough beverages of your preference for the whole weekend). Let us know if you have any allergies, are vegetarian etc.
How to have a nice trip? Participate! Don’t be afraid to join in the games or to talk to others, sailors tend to be very nice people. Take initiative!
