This course is mandatory for new members who don’t have prior experience in sailing. (contact us if you do)
The number of available spots to the course is limited by the number of beginner sailings the club can host.
When the event is full, we can not accept more members to the club or the event (until spring 2022).

An introduction course for new members

The course will give a basic introduction to sailing. Some of the themes we will go through are:
Presentation of the club and our activities
Boat parts, and how they are used
Sailing terms and theory
A selection of knots
Rules of way
Safety
General information

During the course participants will also be booked on 2 beginner sailings in the following weeks where they will get practical training too. After these trainings the member can freely join any member sailing.

We have booked one of the biggest rooms of the university to make sure all participants can keep a good distance,
